Grey Nomad Tracking (1:1 Passing Side) forms part of a series of works that utilize the process of reverse frottage as a means of recording proximity to a place or object. Formed from a full sized caravan, this work reveals the surface of the caravan at 1:1 scale, referencing the cartographic scale system used in the maps on which the work is made.
